Dr. Michael Bensimon

 

Dr. Michael Bensimon is from Toronto, originally from Paris, France.  He studied medicine in French at the University of Ottawa, where he graduated in 2006. Prior to that, he earned a Master of Science in Cellular and Molecular Cardiac Physiology in 2002 at the University of Ottawa's Heart Institute and a Bachelor of Science in 1999 at McMaster University. 

 

Following medical school, he completed his training in both Orthopedic Surgery and Family Medicine at McGill University in Montreal, where he has lived for the past 12 years. Prior to starting his family medicine residency, he also completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.

 

When Michael is not with his six children, he enjoys refurbishing antique furniture and fixing what his kids break for exploration!  Michael enjoys the great opportunities of family medicine and is looking forward to the challenge of practicing rural medicine in Morrisburg and Ingleside.
