Dr. Camila Temple Vidal is originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil. Raised by a musician and a psychologist, she has always been passionate about Art and Science, and found in the field of Medicine a nice balance between the two that allowed her to honor her core values of empathy, learning, service, and respect.

In 2008, Dr. Temple moved to the countryside to attend Medical School at Sao Paulo State University (Unesp, campus of Botucatu), obtaining her Medical Degree in 2013. She then practiced independently as a primary care physician until moving to the United States to pursue post-graduate training in 2018. After completing her residency at MAHEC, a University of North Carolina-affiliated Family Medicine program in rural Hendersonville, and becoming a diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine in 2021, she moved to South Stormont with her husband and son.

Dr. Temple is excited to be joining Saint Lawrence Medical Clinic and providing care for the lovely communities of and around South Stormont and South Dundas. Her special interests are prenatal care, Pediatrics, Breastfeeding Medicine, Women's health, primary care for transplant patients, and office procedures. She also holds privileges at Winchester District Memorial Hospital, where she is involved in inpatient and complex care.

She is a huge Broadway fan, is always working on a new crochet project, and aspires to learn to ice skate. She is also passionate about studying languages and has practiced Medicine in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, with hopes to include French in her repertoire."
